Once there was a little girl called Clarissa, she was ten-years-old and she lived in a mental hospital, because she killed her mom and her dad. She got so bad she went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the More-government decided that best idea was to get rid of her so they set up aSPECIALROOM to kill her, as humane as possible but it went wrong the machine they were using went wrong. And she sat there in agony for hours until she died.
Now every week on the day of her death she returns to the person that reads this letter, on a monday night at 12:00a.m. She creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by cutting you and watching you bleed to death.

Interesting. I love the alien design, especially with all those scales and wobbly eyes. Though, the person in the snow outfit I feel sorry for.

Funny... I have that book, but haven't finished reading it. It like a curse with me that I can't finish a book since I always have another one I need to finish. So, it's rather hard when you're in the middle of reading "Something Wicked this way comes", "Half Blood Prince", "One More Year", and "The Real wizard of Oz" at the same time.
I'm supposing you're talking about the first story which has the doctor/archeologist going into the darkness within a cave figuring he'll meet dinosaurs but meets something else entirely. It's been a while since I read the first story.

It's about a paleontological expedition by Miskatonic University to the Antarctic in the 1930s. They discover some bizarre fossils (namely, of the type you see on the segway) and a massive, strangely ominous mountain range. I don't want to give too much away, but two researchers fly into those mountains and discover horrors that man was never meant to comprehend. It's Lovecraft's longest work, and easily one of his finest.
If you have started this story, you have barely gotten started. Go just a bit further, and I promise you will not be able to put it down until you finish
