Description For more than a century, the Regent-Class Battlecruiser was the ship-of-the-line for the Mogg'Therans' Empire of Many Suns. Fast, technologically advanced, and armed to the teeth, these warships were the tip of the spear during the Mogg'Theran's last expansionist period.
Capable of long-term independent operations, the Regent carries 18 fighters, has room for three troop transports and has an array of advanced sensors and laboratories more at home on a science vessel.
When the Mogg'Theran home world was destroyed 200 years ago, the Empire of Many Suns fell into disarray as the Mogg'Theran's subjects rebelled. The saurian species took what ships they could and now wander their former empire in nomadic fleets, with many of the old Regent's leading the way.
However, more than a dozen of these powerful vessels were captured by rebels, pirates, or dissident crews during the fall of the Empire, and some have traded hands three or four times in the last couple centuries.
Some knock-offs of these cruisers exist, but they still cannot match much of the original technology, and for the same cost most species could buy three ships instead of one.
But still, 300 years later, a Regent charging up its guns and disgorging fighters can give just about any enemy captain a bad case of nerves.

Very cool ship design (something you're really good at)!. The only thing I would say is (and I know space is not like this, but for the sake of us humans...) if you could make the ship more visible it might give it more of a commanding presence in the scene.

Is that CGA-DOGA?!

It's a very impressive artwork. Well done!

I actually do the primary modeling in DOGA, export it as a DXFand then change it to an OBJ file and do additional modeling and the texturing. So it's sort of a DOGA hybrid in that you can't get that look or that level of detail if you were to do the ships purely in DOGA.

I spent years doing 3D in DOGA only. That was quite a while ago. That's also why I recognized some parts and was like.... I think you're found a great technique here.
