Description
So, here we have the new Baby/Basic mechanic featured in Neo Redux. I wanted to make it visually clear that Pikachu evolves from Pichu. Because Stage 1 cards have a single line running across the top of the card and Stage 2 cards have two, I figured it'd be logical to not feature any on a Basic that can evolve from a Baby. Of course, why evolve a Basic if you can simply play it by itself, right? That's why there's benefits to playing it as a Stage 1. In Pikachu's case, its attack's base power becomes 30 instead of 20 when you evolve it from a Pichu.Art credit on card.

nice idea the "can evolve from pichu"
i thought at it too a but i don't like baby pokemon cards (and i'm not doing them) so i've abandoned the idea ;D
why not putting 20/30+ on the damage line? that would be very original

That's actually a cool idea, Foskia! There are a few reasons I didn't, though. Usually, when the base damage of an attack is changed, the base damage is still the only one listed. You could argue that it's because the damage increase is a temporary change, but there exist cards like Roselia from Diamond and Pearl; its first attack normally only poisons, but does 10 damage if Roselia is evolved -- and it doesn't list the actual damage at all.
EDIT: I've also found Hitmonchan LA which changes the base damage from 30 to 60 if it's evolved from Tyrougue and it only lists the 30 damage.

yeah even lugia from neo discovery does 40 but if you flip right it does 80 (it says 80, not 40 +40) so i think it's ok like this ;D

I'm assuming you mean Neo Revelation Lugia...the damage listed is actually 40, not 80.

Yep, but the damage says 40 which is why I kept the damage on Pikachu as 20+
