I'd like to see something like his where the Nameless King returns to Anor Londo and talks to his younger sibling Gwyndolin, about the illusion they've devoted themselves to maintaining. Who better to criticise, after all he may have been stripped from History and his rightful place on the throne by they are still family.

correct me if im wrong, but wasn't the nameless king eons after solaire fought to rekindle the 2nd flame had dwindled? I was assuming that the period between each game was thousands of years. Note: DS3 is my first DS game

There's something very vague about how you get to the Archdragon Peak: You sit down and appear to fall asleep. I'm guessing you either time travel (as was the case with the DLC of DS1), have some sort of dream, or teleport (which doesn't make sense as the sky is nice and blue on the mountain and not in the middle of the night)
But you're right on how each game takes place many, many years apart each other but here's the thing: Gwyn had his sons and daughters close to around the age of Gods, a thousand years before DS1. Gwyn linked the flame, and the Nameless King, being the first born, was already very much alive during that time and (I'm assuming) during the events of DS1. So we have Solaire as a kid meeting the NK on Archdragon Peak before the events of DS1 and everything goes from there.

Solaire in his own world definitely became a lord of the ashes, he was too big to have failed in its mission.
Found its own sun eventually, turning out to be the same, a sun shine even more strongly than the Gwyn own.
Praise the sun.
