Description
Here's the portrait of now Flight Lieutenant Foxy (he started as a humble Flight Cadet all those years ago). He's pictured right after the end of WWII. Note that even after experiencing the horrors of war he's still smiling, that little optimistic fox!
As you can see even Foxy managed to get some decorations. Also due to a little mess in the aftermath of WWII he received another one decoration - Air Crew Europe Star - a bit later.

I'd like to think the character is so happy looking because the war is over and he had some hand in ending the conflict; I've always liked this character though because of how eccentric and unusual he behaves, it probably is what causes him to be a good pilot, though not likely one who's personality would be tolerated were it not made necessary by war (which is also why I like the character, the sort of individual you'd need when the usual way of doing things may not be enough).
Great job on the detail of the uniform, the colors, the insignia's, as well as small things like the uniform creases and the fur textures.
Thanks for sharing with us, always good seeing one of your primary characters doing what they are best known for.

He was quite good at piloting for sure, definitely got some air victories, so it's safe to say he did play some role.
I guess he was able to find work after the war, good pilots are always good to have. Not sure if people stopped considering him a weirdo, though.

Indeed, well I've always liked how you put detail not just in how your characters look but a bit into their personality and background as well.

"Not in your plane" - good point! Foxy can be pretty annoying sometimes and his piloting techniques are a bit... well... unique
