Description

Something quick again!

Colonel Reginald Foxwarder. WWII era Royal Air Force pilot. He's portrayed here in his uniform, shortly after the War ended.

I guess, he's one of the oldest characters I have. And one of the most thought-out. He has the very important role in my main universe. He's the grandfather of my main character after all!

Btw, I need to draw this "main character" more than once in a decade, I guess...

P.S. He's actually related to Golden Eagles. He was in the very beginning of this all...

Hmm, interesting. You do a fantastic job making "dress uniform"s look very well detailed and giving them a nice amount of depth with light color shading.

Definitely the character has a lot of impressive facial detail as well, and I like how your able to make a more traditional looking air force cap work with the anthro ear style.

Seems like this photo has an excessive amount of sepia compared to a lot of the others, but considering this is supposed to be the oldest character in the universe I suppose that sorta makes sense.

The only thing I find a bit odd is that if this character is the precursor to the main character, then why does the main character end up in the space of time before this one (the oldest character portrayed here being prevalent in WWII and then Edwin ending up earlier in the timeline at WWI). It makes me think that perhaps there's a connection there somewhere. But I'll keep any theories to myself as I don't want to guess and accidentally spoil any surprises you have in store.

Still it's very interesting to read and I definitely dig getting more information about your characters and universe.

Awesome work on this one Illusir, I look forward to seeing more over time.

Thank you very much for the feedback! I'm glad you like how the drawing turned out!

It's easier to adapt RAF's cap for an anthro than SAS' cap, as I've discovered

My main character in the universe isn't Edwin Foxwarder (aka Roger Fox, I guess, you mean him), but Richard Foxwarder jr., who is Reginald's grandson. Frankly, Reginald and Edwin both appeared, because I was thinking about Richard's past.
Edwin/Roger is just the guy I draw a lot And by "oldest" I mean, that I'd created him several years ago c: Btw, technically, Richard is my oldest character. I've been developing him for about 15 years!

I can draw some more pictures about these characters and their backgrounds one day, I can't promise it to be soon, but I have some ideas in mind.

Thank you one more time!

Of course, no problem.

Indeed, I often end up head-wear/ear arrangements that don't really make any sense in my animations (like ears sticking through the top of helmets) but we can only really adapt what we can and say "use your imagination" for the other bits. Ha ha.

Hmm, ok then. I guess I still don't have the complete picture then. I'll keep reading and cross checking until I have a better idea. Still it's interesting having things revealed over time bit by bit like this.

Alright cool, well I greatly look forward to that then.

Of course no problem, great job on these and keep up the awesome work as always.

Thanks a lot!

Sepia effect always rules!

I've changed my way of shading (again!), I hope I can do something good with it.
