Description Mimicry is a biological phenomenon by which two or more organisms evolve to resemble one another. An example of this in Kaimere is the dro'khel, an herbivorous parksosaurid, and young uktan, a predatory megaraptoran. The general bauplan evolved because both are cursorial animals in a tall-grass environment. Over time, the two looked more and more alike. Both animals benefit from this convergence: the uktan benefits from the dro'khel male's violent reputation, and dro'khel of all ages benefit from resembling young uktans as their parents are notoriously protective. The dro'khel may also benefit from adult uktans being uncertain of their identity if the wind is not in their favor, although their vision is keen enough that this is not likely a major benefit.
