Finally, I can show you my Halloween costume! I was unsure what character I should cosplay like and I posted a poll, offering the options: Dark Jack Frost from Rise of The Guardians, Marshall Lee from Adventure Time and a feminine character like Lydia Deetz from Beetlejuice. Well, the vampire king won, so here you have him!
And let me just say... I adore cosplaying like a boy, it's pretty cozy (but for binding the chest though: that part is annoying) and the wigs are often short and easy to customize and the makeup is still there but more subtle. With this light you probably cannot see it but I covered my face, forearms and hands with a clear BB cream mixed with some grey non glittery eyeshadow. It's a good way to do weird skin colors without wearing tacky and sticky makeup like greasepaint. Not sweaty, if you rub your face you won't get a big mess and since it's BB cream it's not as 'heavy' or as expensive as real foundation. Plus you can use the eyeshadow and the BB cream normally if you'd like. Then I tried to look more like a boy, so I made my eyebrows look bushy, tried to make my face look sharper and had pale lips: for them I used a Kiko lipstick of a very weird color, a greyish green sage. Looks like a zombie color. I swear in my shop I was the only one who looked at it and squealed in delight saying 'that's what I've been looking for!'... I'm the Halloween queen, I know. XD
And enjoy my prop, the guitar! I love it and I carried it around the whole afternoon. I'll post another shot outside to show better the colors of my makeup and my prop, so stay tuned!
