oh well. in fact i have the same attitude. dark room photos for me always bear that scent. it is really nice to hear that it can be felt through a photo ive made ^.^

thank you! ive discovered the news article on that genre (saying that it is qualified as darkroom so i've decided to try out becuase i alwways feel for digital darkroom slightly but THANK YOU! your opinion's very prescious!

but anyway i feel intrigued every time you leave a comment mmm..mmm. i do not feel so much an expert in the field but i am hopeing to experiment more with portraits from now on. just hopefully spring comes soon (i hate shooting in the studio and outside at snow XD) so... when we meet in Venice i think ill find something to tell you about.

Personally, I think the 'group' of smoke closest to the right edge is not really nice. It kind of breaks the whole smoke pattern

It sounds like I'm trying to be harsh but really the uncropped version looks better. I think instead of getting rid of it, maybe you should try Photoshop 'Liquify' filter. I can totally understand it if you don't want to use digital retouch, but believe me, it would help raise the shot to a new level
