It was the middle of the night, and Kat was driving on an eerie, abandoned highway, her heart pounding in her chest. Her GPS had given up on her, and her phone displayed "No Service." She was completely lost in the pitch-black darkness of the unknown. Her gas tank was perilously close to empty, and she only had a half-filled gas container in her trunk. If she continued driving, she'd certainly run out of gas. Panic was setting in. With a heavy sigh, Kat decided she had no choice but to pull over to the side of the road and rest for the night. She retrieved her sleeping bag, something that was left behind from a camping trip a while ago, and wrapped herself in it for warmth. The night was freezing, and the only protection she had was the thin layer of the sleeping bag. The desolation was overwhelming, but there was nothing she could do. She closed her eyes and eventually drifted into a restless sleep.

Kat was awoken in the dead of night, about two hours later, by a brilliant, floating orb of white light. Her heart raced as she sat up, startled and shocked. The orb hovered just outside her car, casting an otherworldly glow, yet it showed no signs of aggression. Kat cautiously watched as it phased through the car's door and started to float away, silently beckoning her to follow. Her curiosity piqued, Kat concluded that the orb might be leading her to safety or civilization. She started the car, and with trepidation, she began to follow it. The mysterious orb guided her, sticking close to the highway for a while, before suddenly veering off into an open field. Kat hesitated but continued to follow.

The orb led her deeper into the field, eventually coming to a stop at the edge of a dense, foreboding forest. Kat switched off her engine and, gripping a flashlight and a sturdy stick for defense, ventured into the darkness. Navigating the uneven terrain of the forest proved challenging, but Kat was determined to follow the enigmatic light. They emerged into another open field, the same mysterious landscape stretching out before them. Suddenly, without warning, the white light transformed into a mesmerizing shade of blue and began flashing. Kat's heart raced, and a sudden drowsiness washed over her. She dropped her flashlight, fighting to stay conscious, but it was a losing battle. Just as she was about to succumb to sleep, she saw the sky above her being swallowed by an alien object materializing out of thin air. A massive UFO suddenly hovered over the field, its metallic surface gleaming under the blue light. Kat was powerless, unable to move. With a brilliant flash, a beam of light extended from the UFO, enveloping her and drawing her upward into the alien craft. It then flew away, leaving no trace of her behind. Little would she know, she would be converted into another one of their species...
