From an artistic point of view this photo really does it for me.

The composition of all the foliage and the far spiral in the bottom right corner of the picture, is at most pleasing focal positions, giving enormous interest to the surroundings of the very sharply focused central spiral to which the eye is immediately drawn, enhanced by the fact that it is slightly off-centre too. The central spiral is almost perfect in its formation as well, which adds to the viewing pleasure. There is a great sense of balance between the lower right, blurry spiral, the central area, and the less clearly defined, but still to some extent detailed leaves at the upper left of the picture, at the same time, going from darker hues to the lower right to lighter hues to the upper left. I love the tiny hint of purple in the depth of the leaf stems.

There is depth to the photo too, and aperture of f2.8 has given just enough receding detail as I look back from the central point to draw the eye around the main object. The green hues and lighting are also well balanced.

The one thing I would have done is to have cloned out the slightly distracting white bits on the upper right hand leaf.

Overall, a beautifully aesthetically pleasing photo - well done!

I just love the composition in this - the patterns of the leaves and the perfect spiral make for a great photo. Love the greens too!
