Oh, that's quite interesting that you would start origami with a modular. Was it easy to do for you? I read from instructions and it wasn't too bad, but when I first opened it, the paper tore. XD

No, I said it was one of my first origami. The very first one was an origami humming bird: [link] . Having in mind most people fold an origami crane first, you might say I had a head start with origami. As for the rose cube, I messed up the first few pieces and had a bit of a challenge putting them all together, but no, I don't recall having any problems opening the modular. All in all, I enjoyed doing it. It's a simple design, but still very impressive. Check out my gallery if you want to see some of my origami: [link] .

Someday, yes. Actually it's giving me ideas for a little project of mine I'll work on after my studies (maybe during my studies if I find some time); so I'm keeping it somewhere in my mind. :]

I had a couple of tries prior to this and every time I tried to open the flower out, the paper kept splitting. =w=

When you really get into making modulars, it gets quicker and easier to make the units because they're all the same. ^_^
