The image was taken in a cemetary in CT. The statue is actually part of a grave stone. Glad you enjoyed the image.

Well, I'd have to agree with you and everyone else that has commented, this is truly a wonderful shot. The way you cropped it really makes her look like she's walking away... it's strange how emotive statues can be... thank you for sharing this amazing image

You seem quite skilled with cropping and framing in general. This photo, of course, required strong vision and perspective to condense its emotional potential. Very powerful. Great cemetery, too.

The feeling of being alone. It can really overpower us sometimes, but I think the worst is the aloneness you feel when you are infact not alone. You are surrounded by people who love and care for you, but you feel isolated and misunderstood. That's when depression sets in. I believe you really did a great job on this shot, you really captured the feeling. Great job.

I usually don't go for the obligatory grave-yard-statue photo. This one struck me though, because of the illusion you created. It does indeed look like she is walking away. In fact, it looks like she is a person, some unfortunate soul who felt the gaze of the Medusa.
