Description
Not finished yet, but Miyu was a scrapped Star Fox character I decided to create her. She was never in a officially released game so there's no model out there of her. So, I don't know if she has a tail, or doesn't. (Lynx's have bob tails...)She's far from finished.

what program do you use? Back in high school I used 3D-Max. but I'm sure your using a more advanced program, Yeah.

Lightwave 9 is what I use. I started with 3DS, but since they changed it to look almost identical for Maya I just don't like it anymore.

I'd say, make her a little lighter, and change the pattern on her head.
And yes, she does have a tail, albeit a rather short one, as you wrote.

Thanks. I don't know about the pattern since I took the small head picture from Starfox 2 as a reference. I'll retool everything and see how she looks, but the next one a smaller tail is a definite. I'd seen a few pictures by other artists some had long tails and some short, but since she never was done in 3D or in sprite form other then her head it's hard to say what the developers would have done themselves.

Pleasure, even though I totally forgot to mention the positive points (which ARE there, first of them is: Miyu! We need more fanart!).
Also...Miyu. Somehow there's only two subjects where even the most hardcore StarFox fanatics (like myself, possessed by a fennec here) can be either naughty, plain mean or surprisingly effective.
The first is: Fara <-> Krystal.
Second - "So what's that with Miyu and Fay now?"
People apparently want to make ends meet where ends can be made to meet. Always pair people up. Panther with Krystal, so Fox gets Fara, Falco still has Katt (somehow...and boy, do I hope they de-uglify her!), Slippy...no comment. Peppy is an old geezer, Pigma dead, Leon and Wolf...no comment.
But Miyu and Fay are more-or-less put there without context, and people keep insisting these two be a couple. What's your take on this?

LOL! We do need more Miyu, but then you get people who jumped in to the series and only know about Krystal Krystal Krystal. She's Starfox in their minds. Everyone else didn't exist. *snorts*
Krystal was built up in to such a big character that she overshadowed everything. Never mind that she went running to another man when she was asked to leave the team. And coined the name Kursed. LMAO! Not a strong woman in my opinion. A strong woman would have went on from there and not got all huffy when her ex didn't recognize or talk to her.
Oh, Katt... Ugh! I hate the way she looked later. (Black and white tuxedo cat... Ugh!) I like the purplish/pink cat better. But everyone had big heads in that game too.
Anyhow, for couples... Well, there is Wolf floating around out there. Leon and Slippy. LMAO! Anyhow, my take on that is that people hear that Fay and Miyu were friends and automatically seem to make them lesbians together. But I don't really know about couples. I ran in to things where people combine the names of characters to make cute couple names... The one I thought was hilarious... Soniamy... Sonic and Amy... When I first read it I thought it said Sodomy.
But couples... I don't take too literally if I think they'd look good in a picture together I'll put them in for fun. But I've been blasted by fans for doing the "wrong" couples. Like Tai-Lung and Tigress from Kung Fu Panda. People screamed and ranted at how he was dead and she'd be with Po (the panda). *shakes head* Some folks take this couple thing way too seriously. I do it for the contrasting colors and how something looks or feels.

First, Command is something I disregard as thoroughly as Nintendo disregard the StarFox characters of old, so I can't tell you too much there.
Second, Sonamy? Oh, that's harmless. Think about Shadow and Knuckles...what's that even be? Shackles?
Finally, I'm rather a canon fanatic, with the possible exception of Fara, Fay, Miyu. About these last two, well, who knows? Falco was, in my opinion, from time to time quite obviously gay (despite the presence of Ms Monroe), so the same thing with females is rather possible. Still, not so sure what I should think of it.

I didn't like everyone's looks in Command. Everything changed up. So, I'm with you there I don't really acknowledge it in the series, but I can't ignore it either. (Even if it was horrific.)
LMAO!!! Shackles... I like it. Horrible name, but hilarious.
I try to stick to what should be in series, but sometimes I'm like... Ugh. So, quite a few times I ignore story lines to do art that I like. Fanfiction to say the least. Sometmes just out and out flights of fantasy. Hmmmm... Falco gay? It wouldn't be unheard of.

I wondered about that. Since I've seen her drawn with both. Since she never actually made it to 3D there was no way to tell since she was just a little picture of a head.
