Long long ago-mean really long before everything was created. Only two forces existed. Light and dark. It took a while for everything to balance itself. When it did, SOULS were created. Next to this, MONSTER and HUMAN kind.
But, the forces-light and dark-never did get along. Darkness kept on trying to control the SOULS.
And so, the MAGES were born. HOPE and DETERMINATION. These are what makes up a soul. HOPE, being in a color of deep aqua, leans more into the structure and power of a monster soul. Making them physically weaker and stronger by means of magic. DETERMINATION, is well, the opposite.
Both swore to protect the races against darkness...but then again, its easier to blow a candle rather than to keep it burning.
