Long time no new Avenger dragon! Between work, beginning my black belt testing at karate, and my mom having surgery, art's kind of taken a back seat for a bit.
But! I've actually got several other Avenger-dragons sketched up now - they've just been sitting and waiting for me to get them colored and shaded. Here's hoping I'll be able to get 2-3 more up within the next week or two. ^^In the meantime: Hulk dragon, at last! Big, muscled dragons aren't so much my usual style, so he ws an interesting challenge. For his colors, I tried to go with a combination of the traditional purple-pants Hulk, and the tan color from the Avengers movie.

Not bad. The shading is nicely done, and the expression is very hulk-ish. If you have trouble with this kind of dragon, however, I'd recommend checking out DragonArt, by J Neon Dragon Peffer.

I know this kinda late, but you're welcome. Neon's books got me started on art at 9 or 10, and I've been progressing ever since. They're the PERFECT teaching books for self taught artists.

Oh, that's funny. XD I've had a number of people tell me various dragons reminded them of people or creatures from things I haven't read/seen. Interesting coincidences, I guess?

Well he may have had tan pants in the Avengers movie, but Bruce did have that purple shirt in homage to the Hulk's traditional colour, so the combo is still very appropriate.
I irrationally love his stubby little wings. They actually seem quite appropriate since he's totally the sort of dragon that would be pouncing down on you from a cliff rather than swooping in from the skies. A very fitting and recognizable design.

Ooo. I've only seen bits and piece of Dr. Who - I don't think I've caught more than two complete episodes (one of which was while on an airplane and severely sleep-deprived, so my reaction was a bit, "This is hilarious and possibly awesome, but... wait, what?" XD) - but I've got a general idea of the show, and I do like David Tennant... plus I think there are enough distinctive features there to make for a decent dragon design. No promises, but... I'll see if I can work out something I like. ^^
