It's Thunder Man ! I don't draw him too much (because I like drawing cuties more), but he's actually one of my personal favorites in my cast. So he's using his signature attack, "Thunder Roar" (*working title 
). He goes overdrive for a few seconds and puts his speakers at full blast to create an explosive force that throws anything and anyone away. It looks same-y to Cinder's main weapon (especially after this ), but I don't really care. I actually want to force overlaps now as a theme, since there's quite a bit already.So about the pic... I feel like it's lacking some impact. It doesn't look as forceful or turbulent as I wanted. I was going to put some "tremble" effect or some sonic ripple effect thingies (after hours of experimentation) on this, but there's already too much going on in this. As a consolation for me, at least the drawing looks clear.

Thanks! Yeah... you know how I like my bots, mean and crazy. The Burner Man inspiration probably seeps out more from this guy than my other bots.

I kinda wanted to make a joke about him blasting Slayer at full volume. lol.
Also don't worry about the pic lacking some impact, i'm pretty sure a lot of people (including me) saw this and thought "damn that must hurt if you get hit with it".... so... plenty of impact. XD

I can see where it leaves some impact to be desired but only since you mentioned it. At the same time though you'd probably have to really distort the original work to get that effect and it's probably best you didn't.

This... was an effect that I was trying to imagine in my head when I drew your side of the art trade (and this, this character). Initially I wanted him unleashing a blast much like this one, but I couldn't figure out how to visualize the effect from the front.
Frankly, this picture is just a better version of what I was trying to do. The Overcharge. The sound wave blast... even the extra effects and smoke and dust is an improvement. I remember wanting to do a background, but I couldn't figure that out either.
And good grief, that look is sinister. He looks positively megalomaniacal. And the added little details you can almost HEAR the low-frequency bass bursting your eardrums even from a distance. Shaking apart robotic joints and armor alike!

Well... sound IS a bit hard to visualize. Like I said, I was going to put some distortion ripple effects here, but it didn't turn out as I'd hoped. That's why I settled for the white rings... which is a bit more cartoony but cleaner and easier to understand. Though it made the pic a little TOO clean. 
Thanks man! Oh, and about his face... he doesn't have that relaxed eye shape that I usually give him, but I guess it's fine this one time since it makes him look fiercer. ^^

Thanks! Nah, different creators. Though it's Cinder's creator who modified him into "Thunder Man", so I guess that's a reason for the similarities. ^^

Yeah, I feel you. I often draw my females way more seeing how much people love them way more than the others . That reminds me, I need to draw my own Thunder Man again one of these days (I've seriously only drawn him once! XD)
