Technically impossible, but anyway... kudos to anyone who can get Cinder to wear a swimsuit on the beach.
This is for borockman 's Megaman swimsuit artjam 2016 . LOL, thought of this yesterday.... when I was having trouble sleeping. For some reason, most of the drawings that I really have fun with come to me in the middle of the night. Then I get even more excited and have an even harder time sleeping. And after working on this... it looks like I'm not going to get any sleep tonight either.
Had a hard time rendering the fire, because it got drowned too much by the light and steam. Had to add a lot to make them noticable enough. @_@ And yeah, her head's kinda big. But I think it looks cute.

Yeah, I didn't really design any of my robots to take their armor off. I mean, Cinder... she's got a bunch of holes filled with fire and magma. But Capcom did it... everyone's doing it... and quite frankly, now I want to do it too. XD Besides, it's easier if I just think of her like a normal person with magically appearing/reappearing robotic features as opposed to an actual robot in the common sense. Thanks man!

In hindsight, yeah maybe Capcom didn't. The only instance I remember is in the Capcom artbook where it looks like the family's going out somewhere [link] . Now, unless Rush was created long before Rock's transformation (I wouldn't know)... I'd say that pic was after Rock got his armor. But hey, it's art... who knows if it's canon or something.
But they did do the no-helment thing, so there's that at least.

I'd say art like this is just as canon as MegaMan Soccer XD
And this piece, I think, is more of a nod to Tezuka's Astro Boy, since the style and feel is similar and MegaMan was originally meant to be an Astro Boy game.

I don't know about Astro Boy, but yeah maybe. I think that was drawn by Ishikawa... but I can't see the images when I search for them, so might be wrong. He has quite the distinct style when it comes to Megaman.

And the style and feel here is VERY reminiscent of Astro Boy, so yeah, that would be my guess.

It's like being in a state of rest always fills your brain with the coolest of ideas!
Great job on thinking about having the water steam up, it really gives the impression of how dangerous
this girl can be if you get too close, yet her innocent expression makes it seem like she doesn't want to
be this way all the time.
It'll look great with Borockman's artjam, excellant work as always! ^^

She's too hot! Everything came out perfect! Your coloring always amazes me, even the little bubbles in the water. Small details like that I would probably forget about! Cinder is love! I need to draw her too soon as I can come up with a decent idea.

Haha I've been saved by those small details more times than I can count. I think it might even be a crutch. Since i just sloppily do whatever I want with the pic, then hope that the extra details / effects can salvage it.

Seriously though, -wow-, Cinder is a total cutie out of armor, and I absolutely adore all the robotic details and the... unintended side effects. XD The steam effects came out really well and her expression absolutely sells the "Oh crap". I can't imagine what that swimsuit of hers is made of, but good job to whoever developed that material!
