This is for the Swimsuit ArtJam of . I wonder if it even counts though... not much swimsuit in this, more of ocean shenanigans.Now that guy characters are allowed in the ArtJam... of course I'll draw Rime !
He's one of the canon "heroes" in my world afterall. Though... I haven't really drawn much of him. I should fix that some time. Putting this weirdo in silly situations should be fun. Drawing girls is much more fun though. 
Anyway, hope you guys like it.

On an unrelated note... f*ck my internet provider. I've been having intermittently screwy internet for a week now. And everytime I call for repair, the service goes back. So it's like I'm the one wasting their time. Ffffffff!!!

Imbisibol I have a question.
you mentioned in the description "my world" and how this guy is one of the "heroes", so this is a question I had for artists like yourself who create these characters and write backstory:
Is your story (world) still connected to megaman in some way since the characters are OCs or is it something separate but with megaman inspiration?

I like to think it's in the same world as Megaman, like it's a "somewhere else, at some point in time" thing. But I'm not really fond of touching any of the official stuff, so I tend to keep my distance. If you check any of my fan made things, I never mention Megaman, Wily, or any of the official stuff. The lore of my world is very incomplete and still a bit fuzzy to me too at this point... so it's better to be vague about the setting as much as I can. You can think it's all just Megaman inspired... or they're fan creations in the same world. At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter to me.

Side thing: I know I haven't posted anything yet (cause noob) but I have drawn and thought up things that were originally megaman OCs (for lols) that were just enemies for blue boy to fight... but then I added so much that I self contained it to be the "somewhere else, at same point in time" type thing you describe.... but after a lot of changes and stuff i kinda just decided to split it off to be my own thing. thought the megaman inspirations are still there along with others. XD if that makes sense.

He looks pretty calm considering he's floating in a block of ice. The ice itself does look pretty sweet, wet like it should in a warm environment like that. ( nevermind the floating. ) I don't really have a whole lot to offer here, but he looks like a pretty chill dude!

I love your ice and water effects. They really play up your lighting skills and the subtle gradiants (that I haven't learned how to use yet) really help make the piece 'pop'. The vibrant colors give it a very 'cell-shaded' look.
Now... is Rime using his own ice as a flotation device? That's actually kinda genius, considering robots normally sink right to the bottom of the water.
And apparently Cinder opted to ditch the bikini rather then let it burn away entirely. How nice of Rime to retrieve it for her... hopefully she cools off before too many people notice.

Haha yeah, I used my old cel-shaded coloring on the stuff that I have no idea how to do (like the water and ice). I guess that's why it looks a bit cel-shaded.
I actually went into this thinking that Rime accidentally froze himself and drifted out into the ocean. Then Cinder's top floats along and he tries to reach it. Had a lot of revisions for this, and I guess a lot of the original concept got lost.

Rime's too much of a gentleman for that kind of behavior. Likely she lost it (due to structural failure for her temper) and he's just fishing it out of the water for her when it floated too deep for her to follow.

Who knew Rime had such luscious hair underneath! I guess water isn't exactly his preferred environment to be in . But by the looks of things, I imagine Cinder is having an even worse time right now XP. But at least Rime is there for her.

Yeah, I made his hair long because now I can draw him all emo and quiet now. And I can also spike them up when I want him to look intense.
Also, I was thinking more of Rime just uncontrollable drifting in the middle of the ocean when Cinder's swimsuit happens to float by. XD
