Cordes-sur-Ciel In France! ( The Tarn )

This beautiful fortified town of the Albi region has an exceptional Gothic heritage. The upper town of Cordes-sur-Ciel has therefore preserved beautiful Gothic houses, including the house of the Great Falconer, the Prunethuis and the house of the Great Seller. The walk in the medieval city is a real enchantment, all the more so because the streets are bordered by artisan stalls and art galleries.

Falling freeHi everybody. It's not often I draw attention to the music I have chosen for my journals but I would ask you to give this one a listen right through as I currently love it to bits.
Well it is about a week since my surgery and I think I am now fully on the road to recovery. The first few days are always very painful but I think I'm now into the discomfort zone which is an improvement. The painkillers they give you for the first two or three days are also pretty strong and I wasn't inclined to do very much at all. I couldn't even concentrate enough to read or watch TV. Forced inactivity is what they wanted and that's what they got. So in a week I have my follow-up appointment and then I'm back to work. Gradually I have to increase my activity over this week so I will be going out for walks and such like to start to build myself up again. It's all good though and I'm so glad I've now had it done.
