well actually it was in the afternoon, i just adjusted the contrast alot..but yes, they are great subjects to shoot, i just never thought of doing it before, thanks!

Welcome back!!! Since I know the history of this shot, well it speaks volumes about you and your character and your need to capture a great shot when you see one. I can't get over the light balance between the top and bottom of the shot, and how the whites and blacks become opposites. It really makes the shot! Excellent capture.

thanks for your comment, and yes, i'm physically paralyzed by spiders but its something i've decided to overcome. finding beauty in the things one is afraid of is a good first step for me!

Facing fear makes you feel more alive. It has a little to do with why I ride. When you are hard into a turn and the ground is inches away, you have to put that fear aside. It builds character as well. So Bravo to you!

well, its actuallly snow, and i worked with contrasting and sharpening to get a more frosty look - but that web was gone 10 minutes after i took the shot, the snow was just too heavy for it!
