I took this photo for the canon photo5 competition. The brief was powder & fast shutter, and this is what I came up with. I used flour instead of the powder they provided, because I needed a large amount. The flour was blown around with a compressed air gun which is how the 'explosion' effect was created.Related content

Thanks! The legs are my legs. I just took a shot of me sitting in the same chair and merged my legs onto the jacket

this is freakin awesome!.. god that Photo5 judging is absolute bullshit, how the fuck didnt this become a finalist, the others are all rubbish, poor excuses for a competition about creativity. i seriously think they have no idea what they are doing when it comes to the judging, what a joke. fun to do, but so disappointing when it comes to the finalists.
