Description Two concept works for Cossacks Might. I had a few more weapons planned but they weren't turning out the best, so I thought I'd just show off these two. That being said, yes some areas are a little sloppy I will admit.

The Kovalyov masterkey was just an idea I was playing around with for special forces units. Sure, door breaching (at least in convention terms) would be non-existent, but an underbarrel shotgun would still most likely see use in close quarters combat. I used an M-15 Vindicator (as that was the model used for the Kovalyov in ME1) and the M-23 Katana (as that was the model used for the Sokolov) as reference. I added a few personal touches, such as the flip-up holographic sight for the shotgun. I also added muzzle brakes to the barrels of the weapons inspired by the Ak and Saiga. I also added the factory code and fire settings in cyrillic.

The VP-187, as I had already mentioned in the previous chapter of Cossacks Might, is my design for a survival gun in the Mass Effect universe. Based off the Russian TP-82 space pistol, it has two shotgun barrels and an under barrel meant for firing specialized ammo types (namely flares). I added the knuckle guard instead of a trigger guard since it seems like most ME sidearms have full knuckle protection. It also has old fashioned wood furnishings making up the pistol grip and the handguard. Additionally, I added a random holographic projection sight on the back, rather than just sticking with basic iron sights. I have an idea for a more modernized carbine version of the VP, but I'll try to attempt that some other time.

I have also been debating making a ceremonial version of the Kovalyov, featuring wood furniture like that of the VP. Originally I was just thinking of using modern day AK-12's or some other prototype Russian rifle, but then I remembered that even choosing a weapon designed today, it would still be more than a hundred years old in Mass Effect time. Even now most militaries only use mid-20th century rifles for ceremonial purposes (the SKS for example, only invented in late WW2). That all being said, it would make more sense to just choose a rifle platform more current to the timeline and simply modify it to have more of a ceremonial appearance to it. I've been trying to come up with some other weapons designs to potentially fill this roll, since in ME Rosenkov Materials (the company I've been mostly focusing on) is only really shown to have one original weapon available, and thats in the second game. If they're presumably Russian, I would hope they'd be the Kalashnikov Concern of their era.
