Beautiful shot! So dark and powerful looking. I love the sun's rays shining through like that. And, the grain in the photo really adds a nice effect to the overall look. And, yes... your description of the photo sounds like some of the best days I've had at home.

nice lightning... but why is the left part so dark of a sudden? it almost looks like you put something in front of the lens

nothing in front of the lens, i thought it was oddly dark myself. I dont know how bright your screen gets but if you lighten it you can see that the land continues to the left so theres nothing in front of the lens.
