They fly into the garage or up under the porch, when the get tired I calmly
talk to them get my step ladder and offer them my finger, they happily rest there. Sometimes i give them a little water to help. I then take them outside and when they are ready they fly away.

Wow, this is incredible. I'd never have thought you could actually get one of these guys to land on you. Heck, I don't think I've ever seen one land on ANYTHING.

He now stands guard over my backyard, he spends most of his day sitting in a hibiscus tree or on the feeder, I guess we have become friends of sorts.
