Kia walked away from Traumers house.

Se didn't really know why.

She just felt like walking.

Then running.

Then flying.

She didn't know why she was doing any of this. Where she was going, why she was going there.

It was like her body just switched into auto pilot.

Eventually, she landed on a plateau with a lone tree.

She sighed and stood there a moment.

Her birth mother's voice rang in her head.

Kia felt her chest tighten.

But she wasn't exactly...sad.

She wasn't happy either.

She just felt....

Nothing.

Not angry at the gro.

Not sad at her words.

The whole scene didn't even feel real.

So she just felt, nothing.

'Now you know that she hates you.' Her shadow snickered.

Kia sighed and turned away from it.

She then saw the scenery that greeted her.

She hadn't realized that it had gotten so late, or that she had flown this high up. The lake looked more like a puddle, and the forests below seemed so small. The mountains stretched out to what seemed like infinity. And the sky was like a canvas, fading from the blue sky of the day to the warm embrace that the sunset held.

Kia stood there in silence, watching nature put on a show for her.

Her mind stopped wandering.

Her breathing was near silent.

She didn't say or do anything.

She just stood there, watching, and admiring how beautiful everything was.
