Appearance >
Blue has a stocky build, and is quite wide in the shoulders. He has the muscle of a SandWing while being slightly shorter than one, with a thicker tail layered in faint glowing patterns. The glow scales normally evident on one’s face are missing, except for the hard scales on the tops of his legs and the faint markings down his tail. They only react to strong emotion.
His scales carry a blue luster seen more often in the sea-faring tribe that is only slightly dulled by exposure to high winds and sand, making them less shiny and textured by weathering. He has dark horns and a frill that trails down his back and the center of his underbelly, framed by a lighter shade of blue that replaces any sort of fins his mother’s tribe had. His scales are all mainly a gray-blue color with hints of a darker blue and a soft, pale sky-blue underbelly.
His eyes are a dark brown, face completed with a handsome curve to his snout and an angular brow, as well as the strong jaw of a desert dweller and a small dark horn on the edge of his cheek. He also lacks gills, and instead has flat SandWing scales plastered to his neck. He has a noticeable scar on the right side of his abdomen, a scar on the back of his neck, a scar on his lip, and a burn scar on the back of his front left leg.
He has a compass around his neck, though the glass is slightly cracked. He wears thin glasses to help his vision, and has a spear with a red cloth tied around its end tucked away in his wings most of the time.

Ineffective without damaging his body. He isn’t built to withstand intense heat internally, as he is half SeaWing. Any fire attacks will scorch and scar the inside of his throat — as they have done. He cannot use it effectively in any way.

Also dysfunctional, and only glow to strong and powerful emotions, such as anger, happiness, or great distress. He has no control over them, and they cannot be used effectively. He cannot speak aquatic.

Education/Training >
Blue did not receive a proper education, and only remained in the Sea Kingdom until he was 7, not long enough to become fully engaged in his studies. He was a chatterbox as a kid and didn’t exactly blend well with the other students, awkward and energetic as he was, and he didn’t retain what he learned all that well. He mostly relies on his base knowledge of subjects such as addition, subtraction, literacy, basic aquatic, and an outline of history. His uncle taught him how to use a spear.
Spending time in the wilderness on his own has granted him familiarity with the wild, and his adept nature with hunting and using his own teeth and claws for any situation proved useful in his vagrant lifestyle. Now, though, as a more tied-down individual, he doesn’t spend as much time in the wild, but he still retains the skills needed.
Losing his ability to speak meant he needed to learn sign language, regardless of his situation. He did all he could after he dragged himself out of his misery about the situation to learn, and is now quite proficient at it, in both ‘speaking’ and reading it. Though he will never be as talkative as he was before, he can still sign at a rapid pace.
