So yeah... about studying...?

The product of even more procrastination. This took... around 45 minutes to an hour to draw, during a break whilst I was reading old journals and such assigned for my Global Issues class. Me and my roommates just randomly started talking about pokemon, then they started talking about Ohm's law (with one of them insisting that we have to call Amperes "Amperes" and not "Amps") and my mind automatically put two and two together. I dunno.

I love the idea of a beacon pokemon. There is just so much symbolism there that can be tapped into, and I'm sure that Ampharos can make such an awesome character because of that. I'm not sure why I drew Ampharos looking AT the lighthouse rather than being the one IN the lighthouse, so make of that what you will. Still, he looks kinda sad or dejected... hmm...

Ampharos is definitely up there among my favorite electric types, just because the electric aspect isn't completely shoved in my face. Its ability has to do with light, rather than discharging thousands of volts into its foes, which for me is just so much more interesting.

Plus, its light can be seen from space. I'd hate to be right next to it when it shines that bright O_o

On a side note... anyone else bothered by the fact that Mega Ampharos has so much hair?
