It actually doesn't make sense for Dionysus to represent Romanticism. Look up a list of Romanticist values and you'll see what I mean. I think Dionysus should represent erotica and underground "grunge" art.
Nice piece, though. The juxtaposition is very clearly portrayed.

Thank you.
Though the claims of Dionysus representing Romanticism is not of my own conclusions. The piece is structured around basic art theory which claims his as its mascot. Apollonian Vs. Dionysian = Classicism Vs. Romanticism.

crazy chess board. Do people actually play with that style of board?
Other than that, nice work. Juxtaposition is always a strong art concept to work with.

WHY CAN'T I FAVE IT MORE THAN ONCE!?? Good Gods... litterally, they loook fantastic! How long did it take for you to make Apollo? And how is he put together? The detail and time you put into this work amazes me... I hope you have a break planned to get some well deserved rest!

Apollo is made of scrap sheet steel and Dionysus is made of wine bottles.

That is rather depressing, it is too far away for me to even dream of going to visit it.
