Description
After an update announcement on the Mighty No. 9 pages of a new boss, I realised I had a little extra time. So I decided to do a quick painting of the guy. I'm kind of on a roll right now I suppose.No. 1 produces a suit of fire through his fairly lanky under-body. Thought it was an interesting duality to the character. And it allowed me to draw lots of fire, so there's that.

Great to see fan art that understands the essence of a character (at least based on what's revealed thus far). Showing his fierce burning passion for battle but also exposing his true nature/limitation. Definitely fulfills the "do't get close or you'll get burned" idea.

Mighty No. 1 looks SO boss, literally! This is so my favorite boss designs so far.
I really love the way you handle fire in your painting style and I LOVE that one arm is still somewhat exposed like he just lit part of himself up. Fantastic work!
