Tainted Truffle here sounding off for ProjectComment ! The word I  was given was "Rain".
You have multiple deviations that fit that category but I choose this specific one because it is the only one I legitimately had critiques to offer ^^

Your back ground is lovely , I like the softness to the trees. Your characters well draw and combined with  the black bars makes it very believable that this is a still from an anime. Now for  the critique part.

The rain. It's doing some odd things. when rain hits it either bounces of or rolls down. yours seems to be dancing and doing pirouettes as it moves off . of him. There is also a LOT of it. The way it's piling up on the character looks almost like snow. Rain wouldn't pile up.

All in all it's a beautiful picture and well done.

Heya! I am here for ProjectComment 's Tag game. I'm starting off Comment Tag round 97 and my tag word was "parting."

So, why did I chose this picture to comment on? I saw it and thought "oh, this character seems like someone just went away and left them"... Reading your comment up there it seems to have another meaning, but oh well ^^" 

I like the color scheme you have picked and the slightly "screenshot" look it has due to the black bars on top and bottom. I have to admit I have a soft spot for "fake screenshots". All the various shades of blue, the trees in the background fading because of all the rain, it is really well done and from the first moment on you don't question the weather or that the character is probably going to soak in the rain (poor gal). 

But that brings me to a few pointers as to where you could improve in future pictures. It's not quite clear that this character is a girl. I just assume from the comment because you wrote "her" ... otherwise I would have really thought it was a boy... If she is not wearing much make-up that is totally fine. Maybe try to give the character stronger eyelashes or rounder lips to indicate some femininity. 

I like the long hair and have  thing for dark haired characters. But long hair is no longer an indicator for boys or girls... so I was and still am, really not sure about the character's gender here ^^" 
But the falling rain suits the anime style of the picture and it underlines how heavy the rain must fall. Though maybe try to work with less white rain next time you draw such a scene. I came to find that slight light color versions of the colors you picked in the picture work better. So here maybe something like a light blue mixed with light grey would give it a more transparent feel - since it's still water and transparent. 

But overall it is a good picture with a melancholic undertone - well done. Keep up the good work

The 'movement' of the rain is amazing. You made me feel as if I could feel it just by looking because you put so much accurate detailing in them. What looks to be a simple work of art must have taken some time to make. Good artists know how to make others feel as if they can do it, but when they can't they can appreciate that peice more than before. Very nice. Thank you for submitting to
