I think it's important to call attention to the plight of the homeless - I love your idea. It IS interesting and I would hope it would make someone pause and think about helping the dude out next time you cross paths with him (or ANY homeless person - ahem, especially our veterans).

I'm glad you gave them something for it. I always feel for homeless people and I see the blatant discrimination that they must have to live with and I hate it. They're people too. People who used to have families and jobs and homes. And society makes so many assumptions about them, it makes me sick.
