Description
I had decided to walk with my camera slung round my shoulder with the tripod already fitted to see if it could be done comfortably so I could more steadily shoot any wildlife I passed with minimal fussing. The reason I was out was to pick up a few geocaches along the Papillion creek but I quite often trip over interesting things whilst out doing this hence the camera. As it happened I was jumped by a US Navy E6 Mercury doing rollers. As it turns out, getting the camera unslung and tripod deployed was no faster and due to my haste I struggled to get the ball head to smoothly pan and tilt. This was not quite what I had in mind but gave me a nice fairly clean view of one of these fairly elusive aircraft.
