Thanks for the title idea. This cosplay is one that took me far longer than I wanted it to and it was only through sheer force of will I finished it when I did. I wanted to get pictures of it at this location (A cathedral in a French neighborhood) but it's all outdoor and October in Winnipeg isn't usually very nice.Costume and hair were done by me

Well if you ever need I take commissions, I just need a fair bot of notice since you aren't local. And good for you, my early cosplays weren't that good because I lacked a lot of the skills. I learned a lot in 6 years though.

Normally I hate it, when people cosplay Belle with a golden dress instead of a yellow dress, but I kinda like this one :3
Maybe because you still used different shades of gold instead of just one. That's what makes the dress look great, even though it's not yellow <3
The sewing looks very neat and it looks very nice on you <3

I Love viewing cosplays. but unfortunately, I can't sew and I think I look horrible when I cosplay. (I did it once... but the costume has since been ruined...

Yeah my mom taught me the basics when I was little and I had an awesoem teach for 4 years who taught me some of the best things I ever learned. the rest is self taught through trial and error and reading tutorials. Maybe you just haven't found the right characters yet. My first couple cosplays were bad cause the characters didn't suit me at all. We shall not speak of them

I never took an interest in sewing when I was little. I was a real tomboy and shyed away from girly things like sewing and cooking... (Though I can honestly say that I do know how to cook and bake) I'll admit that I've sewn a few things, but nothing major, and I can never remember how to thread the machine.

I was too, the only girly hings I d was sewing and playing with dolls. All my friends were boys these things had to be done alone. With friends I would wear my parents' military face paint and crawl around in fields or I'd play power rangers and stuff like that. I ad never even met another female my age until I was in kindergarten.
Lol, I wish I could help but I don't watch Naurto, I know who the main characters are and some of their back story because my brother likes it but that's it.

I didn't have any friends until I was in 4th grade... other then that I played with the woman's grandkids across the street, but they were younger then me. unfortunately, I'm an only child...I didn't play with dolls much, and I hated barbies, but I did play with my little ponys a lot. but I loved climbing trees. I didn't get outside much, though... long story.
I watched Naruto a couple of years ago... I haven't seen any of the recent episodes, though. I've caught some of the recent manga, but not enough to understand what in the hell is going on.

You've done a wonderful job on the costume. That was a lot of satin to gather, oi! And how did you get gloves to match the fabric?! Great find there.

I bought the gloves on ebay along with the hoop skirt and just prayed they'd match at least one of the gold colours I picked. I was hoping they'd match the lighter colour but I'm happy i got gold gloves, I hate it when people use white. And yeah it was tons of sating, I would get lost in it, that's part of why it took so long
