It's sort of... touching. Like the "Help Save the Children" ads, but better... Maybe because it's silent? I would describe it as an "audible", palpable silence, except that makes no sense. It just seems like it's a snapshot of time.

It's pretty astounding that no matter how old someone is, the events of life that they've already viewed are practically burned into their retinas.
This is a perfect example of how a child is not purely naive. The caution especially shows through the eyes.
