So, I was planning on writing a whole big long story about how Fluttershy became a draconequus, buuuuut I'm honestly hitting a major writer's block so I think at the current moment I'll just jot some general notes down c:

May or may not update this with a real story, thats yet to be seen.

- Fluttershy actually found out she was pregnant while she was engaged to Discord. They held off for a long period of time for the actual wedding ceremony, as Fluttershy was, at the time, busy studying for veterinary school and Discord himself was a little apprehensive about participating in such a culturally significant equine rite. They had a relatively simple domestic life, working and living in Fluttershy's cottage, and Discord helped make money as a sort of problem solver, using his magic to help alleviate situations. When he found out that his dearly beloved Fluttershy was pregnant with his child, he was head over heels in joy, and vowed to marry Fluttershy right this minute damnit (even going so far as to summon Celestia mid bath, who was very unhappy with this) but Flutters just rolled her eyes and told him to return the Princess and that it wasn't that important, so long as he was by her side. They eventually got married shortly before Everfree was born, but not without Princess Celestia telling the whole goddamn kingdom, she likes her gossip thats for sure

- The pregnancy itself was extremely difficult on Fluttershy. Draconequus babies aren't carried, but are instead formed from a sacrificed portion of their parent's power. As a result, the half pony, half draconequus grew extremely quickly in Fluttershy's womb, and her body was having major issues withstanding it. As the baby needed magical energy to form, it siphoned nearly all of Fluttershy's life force nearly killing her in the process. She grew extremely weak and colorless, and not knowing what would happen if the child was born, Discord greatly feared the loss of his wife, or his baby. There was an even greater chance of him just losing both, and terrified of losing the one pony that truly understood him, he desperately called apon Celestia and Luna, using his last honorbound favor to ask them to help him save his fiance's life.

- Luna and Discord scoured the Crystal Empire's ancient tablets of spells for something that could save Fluttershy, as the former Draconequus owners had great knowledge of the arcane Creation magic with powers that could ward off even death. While digging below the Crystal Palace, they discovered an ancient catacomb that all leylines traced to, and a spell that was able to turn others into draconequus. The information was kept under wraps so it could not be used in the wrong hands, and Discord summoned his dear Fluttershy. Sacrificing a portion of his power, and his immortality, and with the help of the latent magical energies, he was able to magically ascend Fluttershy into Draconequus status.

- The four princesses, Discord and Fluttershy all agreed to keep the information under a tight lock and key. The princesses summoned a magical ward that would keep out all but any of them to prevent such a powerful spell to end up in the wrong hands.

- As a draconequus, Fluttershy's powers heightened immensely. Becoming an extreme empathetic being, she could not only read thoughts, but also feel pain of anyone she was currently touching. This became extremely useful as she continued to work towards her goal as a veterinarian and was able to pass her clinicals with ease. When using her empathy, her mane often glows and flows much like Celestia and Luna's.

- Fluttershy still carried Everfree, despite her ascendance into Draconequus form, as she had carried her in her pony form before. The birth was extremely painful and exhausting, and unfortunetly rendered Fluttershy unable to bear anymore children after the fact. That wasn't as much of an issue in her life as it was when she first found out; She was initially devastated that she couldn't give her daughter younger brothers and sisters, but ultimately grew to accept it as she began to understand her own new body, and explore motherhood.

- Despite becoming a draconquus for good, Fluttershy is capable of shapeshifting her body for long periods of time, which she uses to return to pony form. In truth, very few people know that she isn't actually a pony in an effort to keep others from either witch-hunting her husband, or trying to seek out the source of the spell for their own desire for immortality. The only ponies who know are the Mane Six, Spike, Celestia and Luna, and Cadence and Shining Armor. She later taught this ability to Everfree, who is less interested in hiding her body.

- Fluttershy, Discord and her daughter, are not immortal, though they do have a highly extended lifespan. Discord and Fluttershy have the possibility to live for another thousand or so years, while Everfree might have even longer. Two hundred years after the ponies from the current generation have died out, Discord's mother Harmonia regenerates completely and re-emerges, lovingly doting on her son's "new" wife and daughter.
