This is a commission I got from to use as a preview image for the planned finale I had to "The lamp of Hypnos" (which you can read here www.deviantart.com/incrediblei…).I wanted a picture with Rosalina, who was drawn here in the unused concept for Rosalina's planned appearance in Super Mario Odyssey, a design that is shown in the art book apparently. We also have the designs used by back then (which you can see here www.deviantart.com/blockdasher… and the one for Bowsette by (which you can see here www.deviantart.com/incrediblei…)

From what I've read on the subject, the development team wanted to make her a relative of Peach, but they dropped the idea while Super Mario Galaxy was made.

And this action makes a cannon in that respect because if you look at the end of super Mario Galaxy and how the black hole thing happens. It basically lets anything happened. Not to mention that smash brothers practically allows for everything to happen at this point.
