After getting a gift from featuring those two with Gerudo Link, a character that I adore, I just couldn't allow those two to be next to another belly-dance aesthetic/related character that I adore: Shantae.

I've first seen Shantae in the pages of Nintendo Power. In the issue, they gave hints and tips as to how to best navigate the overworld, reviewed the game and made some generous space for Matt Bozon's artwork, which kinda fascinated me at the time. The game seemed very good, suited to my tastes, yet I didn't have a Game Boy Color and it was impossible to find, so I just relented...Yet I always kept on coming back to that issue, too mesmerized by this half-genie character to really let her go. I wanted to play her games badly, with Risky's Revenge being unfortunately unavailable as I did not have a DSi to download it at the time. It really was with the 3DS that I got to play her games and my constant thoughts about the character were rewarded with solid games and more down the line too. However, the concepts behind her games, notably belly dance, were very vivid in my mind, thus it fueled my desire to learn this art for a long, long while.

Here, we see the half-genie hero dancing and interacting with my muse characters, Sexy Muse and Writer Muse, as they talk and check another one while having a good time. Both my serious and my sexy side have an obvious fascination with Shantae, with illustrations commissioned (including this one) and stories written in her setting or simply with her, thus to see her in the middle between my muses is pretty neat on its own.
