Full view or download view for the full size if that's not big enough. :BUrgh, this took me quite a while to complete. Why?
First off it took me a day or two to scan the sketch after I finished it, digital inking took about three days and another three days to color... the first two I got nothing but the skin, hair and wings done, then I accidently messed up my computer and the wing CGing was gone. Thankfully that was the easiet part to color. :]
Designing random outfits for Raos here is so addicting it's unhealthy... and *groan* he gets fruitier and fruitier in each new pic. At least he's smiling and he doesn't look suggestive or psychotic. I suppose that's an accomplishment. <:

Yes, that is a halo. No it is not a real halo. Yes it is a new thing I came up with. Raos holds up random accessories and such with invisible wind spells. Woot! Now there's a way to explain those gravity defying costumes and stuff. :'D
Oh, and those designs on the jacket are from brushes made by who makes some of the most awesome Photoshop brush sets I've ever used. <3

Eh... his hairstyle's weird. Raos is sort of the artist of my group. But yeah, that's just his hair dyed black and cut to look like that. He does it just because it looks cool. xD

I use a variety of mediums. This one was done in Photoshop and I've never been able to get the same result I got with the hair since this pic. D:

Actually it was ripped off and he's traumatized because of it. But broken, torn off, either way it's gone now. ;3;
Really I find that redheads look best in green or dark plum but that's just me. I've experimented a lot because Raos here is my most frequently drawn character and he's never in the same outfit. :3

Awww poor him D : My character Shaku is missing a wing but...that happened three years ago so I have no idea how anymore XD;
Hmm...I always thing greens look a little christmasy with redheads so I try to avoid it but I always end up drawing them in it anyways XD; I've been drawing Chouko with blue a lot, and I like the red and white dress I put her in in No Happy Ending, but I don't like to use the same color every time. Shaku has green hair and she's probably my most frequently drawn, she has an outfit that she's drawn in the most, but she wears different things a lot too.

It's not Christmas-ish if you use certain shades of green along with other colors like gold. :3
I've used spring green, super dark green and other random shades and it looks just fine.
I like to use green with his red hair because they're complimentary colors. :3
But yeah, everybody likes something different no? :]
Haha, the first thing I thought up with Raos was how he lost his wing. Maybe I don't have many characters because the ones that I do have are extremely detailed in personality and backstory. I don't think I'd have the time to make so many characters with the way I develop ad create them. @^@;

I like to use jade green, I think it looks the least christmasy darker greens look more christmasy though, I've never tried gold with like....anything, but I only have colored pencils to use cause we don't have photoshop and my gold colored pencil sucks
My mind just kinda goes like a million miles and hour so I can come up with a lot of back stories for a lot of characters but I forget them XD; So I write them down, but then I am too lazy to look them up :/ Ayfi's story is too old and I add stuff to it too much to forget it though, he doesn't have anything with his physical appearance that needs much explaining, no scars or missing limbs or anything.

The anatomy of gorgeous, the hands are gorgeous, his hair his SUPER goregous (are those black roots that I see? ;3 *brick*). The face is excellent. The smile is perfect for him, sort of the small, shy smile. It makes me want to squeal. And maybe kiss him.

Eh... I just love all of it, really (the shadow behind him? AWESOME.). There's only a handful of things that I'd bring up, but I'm going to take notice to the "Critique Not Desired" sign above my comment window and remain silent there. :3

Really I can't stand to see my characters in the same thing twice. It gets boring if I draw them all the time in the same oufits all the time. It rekindles my interest in my characters when they look a little different every time. Plus, thinking realistically, not many people wear the same outfit day in and day out unless it's a uniform or something. :B
I must be one of those strange people out there in the artst world because I actually like to draw hands. O-o
Black roots you say? That might actually be possible. I suppose his hair would get darker over time considering his mom's hair was black and her genes probably mixed with his dad's so I'm not sure.

Heheh, that "Critique not Desired" works in the same way those Japanese paper seals do. It shields my fragile ego from the dangers of critism. As much as it helps I'm just too shy to really allow people to poke at my work once it's finished because I don't like the feeling of seeing something wrong that I can't really change. I prefer to find the flaws later on when I'm done fawning over the thing. owo;
Really CGing isn't too tricky. You just have to play around, dabble in tutorials and find a CG style that works with your art style and voila! X3

Yeah, well it's better than my silly Photoshop 5 Limited Edition. :< It doesn't have a the right shape and size of brush that I like, so I can't ink it! *falls* I had forgotten why I haven't digi-inked in a year...
Maybe I could try it out oekaki style...

Oekaki is always good practice.
Oh, and you don't have to use the defaul brush sizes. There's usually a few tabs you can slide around in the brush options to change the diameter to your liking.
Then again, I've never seen PS5 so I'm not really sure what to do there. Still, it should at least have a brush size option like that or else it would be pretty cheap. :/

It doesn't have the size-change. It came with my tablet, so it probably is cheap. XP I should save up for an upgrade, unless my program is even so cheap that one can't apply and unpdate to it.
So... I'll stick with oekaki, I guess. XD

Oh, it's so beautiful! I must say, seeing him so very cheerful makes me happy- it must be the new accessory...um. Hm! You're right, he is kinda fruity. But that's why we love him, right? Wow... I really like this pic. I guess it's the tones in the colouring, which is just awesome. The entire thing is put together so well, the proportions are great, and he is SMILING! The entire thing is totally breath-taking.

Bah, I never put much thought into the pants. I wanted something subtle and not dull. Most shades of red and dark purple were out of the question because they'd clash with his jacket and shirt.
Yeah... I was having a bit of a color crisis in the first place so that probably contributed to it. :B
