This is NOT a real gun!
It's my latest, and most ambitious SciFi prop project yet.
This has been built from scratch (process pics in album), using some 8 meters of various PVC piping, 2 meters of brass piping, 3 meters of various aluminium rods (NO picatinny rails), scrap plastics, a grip and a scope scavenged from a toy, some rubber mat, plumbing supplies, a torch.
I made about 50+ individual pieces, held together by some 120 screws, bolts, nuts and washers. All in all some 5-10 layers of various paint in different colors, using airbrush, spray gun and some spraycans.
My idea was to create a Star Wars style particle-beam blaster, based on the Stormtroopers' E-11. Mine is an advanced version, let's call it E-11 b-2S, featuring a liquid cooling cage for the power components, 2 barrels, scope, tactical light and laser sight. Under the barrel assembly is a container for the fuel used to create said particle beam (no, it's no pump action thingy). On the left side is a more modern power pack, replacing the magazine usually seen in the Star Wars franchise...
It nicely matches the little blaster sidearm I made earlier.
I started this in November 2022, worked (depending on weather) in my free time, finished on 01/02/2023, about 3 months building time...
Oh, and no, I don't think I'll do this one on commission, would be way too expensive 😉
