Description

Did you know Esa has an entirely unique fighting form in the world of Daeva? This is one of her simplest form sheets that I use when illustrating her actions.
It is derived from a mixture of several real-world fighting styles: wudang, kalaripayattu, capoeira, and wushu.
Esa's style of fighting is an equal combination of kicks and sword strikes, melded into a seamless, fluid attack sequence.
Compared to other characters within Daeva, Esa's style is quite reckless and erratic as you can never quite tell what she will do next. (Honestly, she's dodging and attacking all at the same time!)
This decision was made due to Esa's history. She never had any formal training, so she trained herself mostly through books. As you can imagine, reading about it and doing it are very different, hence this odd hodge-podge of swirls, kicks, leaps, and strikes.

Her sword is a mixture between the Japanese Shinshinto (Katana,) and the Wushu strait blade.
