I like it a lot, especially since it's all blue and stuff. Is it near the ocean? That'd be a plus too.

Very nice blue tint. I also really like the curve of the beach.
Why did you choose to place the horizon in such a central position ? I think it could have been better if you had placed it in the upper third, while taking the photo closer to the floor. It would also have add some more perspective.

i actually did that because right below the lower edge was an ugly log and i wanted to exclude that and i also wanted a lot of negative space in the top half to make it seem more lonely. but i see what you had in mind and i think it wouldnt have looked as empty, i have to agree. right now, it seems a bit too half and half

I agree with your point of view. The man wouldn't have looked so lonely with less negative space. I don't see what you could do to improve this 50-50 proportion. Maybe there's nothing to do because it's right this way.

i like the minimal look of this shot, that and the cool tones help add to the sense of isolation and lonelyness. The lines created by the waves are also a nice touch

the long distance of ocean emphasizes the sense of lonliness..

I kina like the title of this one for some reason, just really nice - it's calming. Infact the entire photo is quite relaxing, definitely from the small waves rolling towards us in the foreground. Great composition with the sandbar just ocming into the frame to add some depth and detail to where your subject is
