I like your new painting, Tegan : the "klimtish" touch, the half-hidden face and the colors you chose to paint the skin... Everything tends to create something "raw" and fascinating in the same time.

I rarely seem to reveal an entire face (or a face at all). Actually I do, but then everything looks so complete or I'm unhappy with it, and find myself interpreting in a way that I feel more comfortable with. I'm not entirely certain why this happens yet.
Cheers for picking up on Klimt! One of my favorites, and certainly an influence...

absolutely. at first glance, I saw this work so much like Klimt's early drawings, the Klimt style I liked best. Very nice piece!
