Ahh, ol' JJ "Camera Flare" Abrams... I went to see Star Trek five times... so good...In all honestly; if I were given the choice between JJ and Cameron, I'd pick JJ. Cameron is an absolutely competent filmmaker, but I think JJ would be able to carry the spirit of the games better.
This idea occured to me as I was working on my previous movie poster. And as it turn out, it was even more complicated.
I find my newest forays into Photoshopping (I don't have Photoshop, but you get the picture) with both enthusiasm and caution. 'Cause I don't want this to get in the way of my manual artwork --which I am working on by the way.
I just take a while to do stuff.
And as I strange note; when I submitted "James Cameron's Mass Effect", it was only a matter of hours after that when the Mass Effect movie was announced.
Maybe this time we'll get a casting list. Or a teaser trailer.

Found a good shot of the SR1 that fits better within the conept. Also smoothed a few things out and replaced Liara.

Though, I must cringe at your choice of JJ (though he'd be WAY better than Bay, imo)...he kind of ruined Star Trek for me. But I do realize lots of people liked that movie, so I shall reserve judgment. ;D

well ...... hmmm how to say this, yes it would be fun to see it as a movie, but a game (these games) are as good as they need to be and I do not think a movie would be a better experince, then the games are.

I'm really glad you like it that much, I really do, but I can't put it up as a print. It's utilizing not one, but two different intellectual properties and it almost certainly would break some sort of copyright.
And besides, it being in poster size would just highlight its flaws.

^this! Sometimes I think that the best way to make such a movie is to give the script to the actors and go like: "OK guys, let loose, do what you want but play the games first and read the books!" ...or something like that.

you know, if they are making a movie, i think it would make more sense to make it a prequel to the games, thus avoiding any conflict fans have about casting of existing caracters. never mind negating variations of Shepard's past...
Mass Effect: Contact Wars would make sense, with some ominous hinting at the future....
