From the anime series Patlabor. Mostly modelled fom the master grade plastic model kit from Bandai.Modelled/rigged in Maya, rendered in Mental Ray.

Yeah, there are pilots inside. The show is based around the pilots (that are cops), I think.
(I'm not sure, I didn't really see the show, I'm just a big fan of mechs in general )
