It took way longer to finally overcome my fear of drawing a Sangheili than actually finishing this
. I felt like doing Halo fanart for months, but always thought I should hold off on drawing until I have better art skills. I guess I was rather to lazy to study Sangheili anatomy. Yeah, shame on me 
! But this won't be my last attempt. Sangheili are so handsome and neat to draw 
Anyway here is my favourite Halo character holding my favourite weapon
. Two things really annoyed me to color though:1. the Arbiter armour (now I totally understand why people prefer to draw Elites with loincloths!) 2. sandstone.
I don't even know why I had to draw sandstone since I really hate that type of rock for many reasons
This picture kind of inspired me to draw it: [link] But I had a lot of fun doing the sword and finding out a way to make it look real.
Does this need a mature filter for blood

The arbiter's armor details look very good, as well as the background. I love how you made the texture look so realistic, especially with the shadowing you've done below him. Very creative!
My only concern with this piece is the lack of detail in the background; it takes out the feeling that you are looking /through/ the painting as if the arbiter were a real individual and the painting itself were just a hole in a wall separating our dimension from yours.
Overall, you can clearly see the center of interest as well as the originality of the work. The technique you used was fantastic! However, the lack of detailing in the background (note I am talking about the forest) didn't really give much of an impact of your overall painting. Great work though! I look forward to seeing your future works.

This is very nice. I really like the contrast between the blue and orange/brown colors, the shimmering weapon and his armour looks marvelous.
Mature filter...I think not...maybe for those who have blue blood.^^

The left had looks a little weird. If his hand was at that angle the armor on his arm would be flexing to his right a bit. Anyway, nice work.

I remember this one,having a hard time with the armour and all - but you did end up doing it great!
The background became great and you must know that I allready love the sword effect (wich still remind me of Soul reaver from LoK - as well,thats what I said before when you showed the progress of it back then haha )

Those type of aliens and another have purple blood. Then their are also ones with orange and neon blue blood

haha neon,now that sound like awesome blood color,would make me less sick..or maybe not (if I did have it,and is as I am..dang,guess I would start to not like neon colors then..who knows? even start to have red as my main fav color 8 D )
aah that,well actuly I do belive ganon D actuly spits green in our version of game too,can't recall red at all - the only redness I been seen a bit of,is in the 3DS,me thinks - at least sis did notice something (not sure about Ganondorf thought...hmm)

The effects you used to create the weapon are wonderful!

I drew the entire sword in a whitish-turquoise and then made it a bit transparent. Then I colored it with a bit more turquoise and also some purple. To do the sparks I used a brush that looked like a star, made it very small and set it so it will change the angles while drawing

It worked very well. Yay for randomized brushes!
