IKR? XD Jackman looks great as Wolverine, but I guess He'll never be as Gritty as The Comic Book version of Wolvie. I mostly hated how they Change the time line and characters about instead of at least slightly trying to stay with the Comic. :/

YES! A) Gambit is not that old. B)the movie suggested he had some form of telekinesis (or was that just misplaced special effects?) and C)DUDE. Writers, director, and actor had no frickin clue who Gambit was other than a male who enjoyed card games and used cards with his *somewhat vague* mutant powers.

Its been Ages since I've read the Really old Comics, I think giving Rogue a Name was a newer thing as a lot people made a Point of Pointing out she had no name.
Gambit is Supposed to be in 30's I believe or Late 20's when He first joined the X-men. Yeah, they really didn't display his Mutant Ability very well; or his Personality, or anything about him 
did You also Notice there was a couple Members of the Weapon X programme missing? unless, They changed their names or something... I dunno, but I didn't see Maverick anywhere in this movie and I'm sure he was Part of Team X in the comics. :/ I also Noticed the Movie Decided that that Story in the Comics that Suggests that Sabey and Wolvie may be Brothers, is apparently now FACT. :/ What happened to the days where those 2 would tear the Shit out of each other?

Agreed, and I realize they didn't have 8 billion hours in a movie to explain it all, but was it REALLY necessary to completely butcher the Dark Phoenix saga?! I mean, the EASIEST to fix mistake was to have her kill herself instead of having Logan do it (who proved he couldn't in the comics.
hehe those days still exist >XD I used to RP with a few people that went by Origins except set in present day, and they would STILL tear the shit out of each other. One time, Sabes even tore out one of Logan's lungs and sold it on the black market... all sorts of things happened.... XD

IKR? :/ They Completely Ruined the Dark Phoenix Saga. Wolverine Could never kill someone he loved, Especially Jean Grey. It had More impact that Jean Killed herself to stop the Phoenix Force from Destroying all that she loved.

Y'know, I may have been able to forgive many of the discrepancies if they hadn't done THAT. Also, killing Scott? I know I never liked the guy, and often laughed at him as I read the comics, but did Phoenix really HAVE to kill HIM?!
hehe we rped tons of stuff... Sabey had a feral wife and a 6 year old daughter (and later twin boys) and the daughter somehow got her hands on nukes and was nearly successful at ruling the world (she promised Logan all the Cuban cigars if he stayed out of it), I rped as my OC who was the full sister of Logan and half sister of Victor (she tended to side with whoever wasn't ignoring her at the moment, so usually Logan, until he started paying way more attention to his *redheaded* girlfriend...). It was fun while it lasted...

well, In The comics Phoenix wouldn't have killed Scott because Jean would not let it do so. Hence why she killed herself in the end.

I agree with you there... could she have killed Professor, though? In the comics she tried to, but it wasn't explicit on why she couldn't/wouldn't.
XD it was! There was a lot of chaos once because according to the Vic RPer, it was against Romulus's plans for Logan to ever be *happily* married and/or ever have the chance to raise one of his children, so all hell broke loose when he tried to marry his aforementioned girlfriend...

I don't think she Would have Killed Professor Xavier. In the Comics Jean was Fighting from the Inside to Stop Dark Phoenix and Regain her Body. I guessing that was Why she couldn't kill him in The Comics, Dunno about the Movie Though.
