Description
When the Order of the Crowned Serpent was founded, its name was only symbolic, but the ruling grandmaster has, after years of obsessed work, captured several horrible creatures known as basilisks, and given them as steeds to a few elite knights. Indeed, only these few knights could ride the basilisks, for they cannot be tamed and must be puppeted by mind-magic, and even then they are unwieldy and dangerous to be around. But all this is worth it for the dread that the mere sight of a basilisk inspires among the enemy ranks in battle - for what sane man would stand and fight against a creature that could, at any moment, reduce anyone in the formation into a statue of bone and rot?
