Description
A little rusty after summer break, so I figured that I'd ease into things with something fun to draw. Lucille had much success with my friends here at DA, so I decided to continue with Maud. Thanks to Sofasketcher211 for the suggestion
As with Lucille, I tried to make the character a little more human like by replacing her puppet eyes with more doll like features and worked the hands up a little to a more realistic rendering. Hope you guys like Maud as much as you did Lucille

She looks wonderful! To be honest the first one of Lucille actually did look like a doll to me. These make me wonder what you could do with Raoul and even Francoeur (He'd be neat to see like this too!).

Goodness, what an honor to be in the description! And yes, she is very beautiful, but she tilts more on the adorable side with those huge eyes and glasses. I love the eyes and the way her hands are placed, like she's welcoming us to a story (probably about a certain flea XD) before Lucille does her performance (the cabaret background was a very clever idea). I've always thought Maud had a more motherly tone to herself than Lucille, and this painting demonstrates it to perfection. Once again, you have impressed me with your talent. Keep up the amazing work!

I'm so happy that you like her.Β I never would have tried her if you had not suggested her.Β I admit that she is not as elaborate as Lucille, as I did not think that her character required such treatment.Β To tell you the truth, the more I tried to make her real, the more she resembled Audrey Hepburn LOL! So, I stepped back and that's when her role kinda dictated a lesser approach, this is where it brought me.Β I love these characters as well as the movie.Β Β I thought of adding Γmile next to her, however I realized that he was turning into Phil Collins LOL! Just a bit much I'm sure you'll agree LOL! Β I was a little rusty after the summer break and she was just what I needed to shake myself up......She was so much fun.....Β Just what I needed
