The story:
Makoto felt like she was floating all the way home, it had took her two days to prepare for her new life. Makoto had nonstop dreams about being shrunken as it was now all she thought of, and everyday since the night she got her answer, Makoto visited Ann to hold and talk to. Now Makoto didn't have to worry about Exams, Herself, or her other hundred problems, for tonight she would finally be free.

Hurrying to unlock her front door to her and Sae's apartment, Makoto opened the door to a pitch black lonely door, for what might be the last time. Turning on the lights Makoto had arrived prepared a goodbye night for Sae, but she felt that Sae would probably forget about her soon. dropping her bed and phone on the kitchen counter, Makoto took a quick bath hoping to smell nice for her soon to be caretaker. After her body was clean, Makoto hopped on her bed hoping to past the time while she waited for Ren by putting on a giant monster movie, which she to come to love due to thoughts of her new life.

Finally Makoto perked up as she grew restless, when the echo of her doorbell sounded through the apartment. Jumping to her feet from her bed, Makoto rushed to her door eager to open, startling Ren when she yanked open the door breathing hard. Grabbing Ren, Makoto pulled him in, before shutting the door behind him. At her room, Makoto was overjoyed when Ren showed her the shrinking pills that would usher her into a new world of living, and the second thing he showed her was that he brought due to the advice of a certain small doctor, the shrunken school teacher Sadayo kawakami. Confused that Ren brought Sadayo and not Ann, Makoto asked the shrunken teacher, why Tae suggest bringing Sadayo along?

"When you awaking for the first time after shrinking, the new size of everything can cause a mental overload if you are not prepared. For me i awoke dangling from the fingers of a certain giant, Ann awoke and was almost mated with by Morgana. however Tae and Futaba awoke gently in a safe manner, Tae held in both of Ren's hands, and Futaba actually was somehow awake during the shrinking process." Makoto nodded her head listening like a star student would to her teacher.

"so i am here to make sure you have a nice reaction to your new surroundings, and if you need a comfort i am here."

finally as Makoto was handed the pill, across the apartment, her phone vibrated from a text message.

"Makoto, i was able to get out early, i don't suppose we could go out to eat like sisters for once? i know i been hard on you so i wanted you to have fun today, i will be home soon."

Drinking water to wash down the pill, Makoto grew nervous growing second thoughts. Feeling the pill slid down her throat with the water Makoto closed her eyes and sighed. opening her eyes, blinking a few times, Makoto looked to a onlooking Ren who stood still unable to read his face.

"when does it happen?" When Makoto finished her sentence she grew dizzy as the world spun around. losing balance Makoto started to fall forward onto the open arms of Ren, in her hazed thoughts she could have sworn that his arms were growing thicker as time slowed down, and the world grew dark.

Having experience from the shrinking of Tae, Sadayo, and the many shrinking of Futaba. Ren knew the process all to well as he held the now tiny unconscious Makoto in his palms laying face down. Gently rolling his shrunken friend on to her back, Ren saw her chest raising and falling, as the bad feeling in his gut grew bigger. with the sound of a monster roaring from the tv left on and forgotten, Ren stared at Makoto's cute sleeping face (much to Sadayo annoyance). Snapping out of it, Ren had just placed Makoto next to Sadayo on Makoto's wooden study desk, When her room's door opened.

"what are you doing in my house!"

Surprised Ren spurn around to see the older ashen haired woman wearing a suit standing at Makoto's doorway, with her arms crossed and a angry look on her face. it took a close call of the woman almost calling the police, and serval back and forward but Ren was able to convinced the woman that he was a friend of Makoto's and he was here to study. While it seemed the woman, believed the Ren was a 'friend' of Makoto's he felt she didn't believe the study part of his tale.

"Makoto, you can't be distracted by boys, you need to focus on your studies." Rubbing her eyelid corners, the ashen brown haired Woman spoke to herself. walking into the room the woman head towards, Makoto's desk looking for something. Ren nervously looked down at the desk, worry that the woman would see Makoto and Sadayo, but to his relief, Sadayo had dragged Makoto behind a stack of books on the sides, thinking fast Ren, moved one of the books to make a roof to cover the two shrunken girls. When the woman reached the desk, Ren heard her whisper to herself.

"now where are those aspirins i gave to Makoto to help with her studies." When the woman grabbed one of the shrinking pills laying on the desk saying

"oh here they are". Ren tired to stop her, but it was to slow and to late, as the Woman popped the pill in her mouth and shallowed it without water. Ren watched shook at what just happened, as the woman stumbled and collapsed to the floor, before reducing in size as well.

Makoto, had just awoke in a dark place, not knowing where she was, but when she sat up shaking her head. She saw from the opening of the dark place where light came from, a giant version of her sister fall to the ground, Makoto snapped out of her daze. Rushing forward while crawling, Makoto reached the ledge of a wooden surface. trying to find where the giant body of her sister landed, but she didn't find her giant sister's body, instead she saw a normal sized Sae laying on her side not moving. Yelling her sister's name, Makoto tired to get her sister to awake, but she was startled and taken aback when two giant pair of hands entered her view and headed to her dear sister.

Makoto finally remembered what had happened, as the memory of taking the shrinking pill came to her brain. and those giant hands belong to Ren, but Makoto didn't focus of her new giant surroundings or her new size, instead she kept calling out to Sae. Makoto felt a hand placed on her back, it was her old teacher Sadayo trying to offer comfort. Makoto watched with worry as the hands of Ren scoop the limp body of Sae up. the body of Sae rolled effortless on to it's back not moving.

When Sae was placed on the desk next to the two shrunken girls, Makoto rushed to her sister side, barely giving ren time to move his hands out of the way. Makoto dropped to her knees staring at her limp sister, before wrapping her arms around Sae's chest to hold up. Hugging Sae, Makoto rocked back and forward, begging Sae not to leave her too, but Makoto stopped when she felt the breath coming out of Sae's mouth and hitting her neck. The tears flowed freely from her eyes as Makoto was overjoyed that her sister wasn't gone.

But her old life, was gone for after Sae awoke in Ren's attic and overcame the shock of her giant new world, the discovery of Makoto's attempt to leave her. Sae tired the reverse pill, but found no change in her new size, not even one inch was regained, as she was now forever trapped to be the size of a doll for the rest of her days. Makoto now trying to bare her new found regret, blamed herself for the destruction of her sister's life. Although she had no way to go, Makoto now wanted to fight once more against her problems, for the sake of the life she costed her dear sister.
